Valencia CF and PUMA present the special kit that our team will wear in the Retro Matchday organized by LALIGA.
The ‘RETRO JERSEY’ is born by looking back, but moving forward. A piece that connects generations of Valencia supporters, acting as a bridge between memory and the present.
Inspired by the early 1990s, this collection reinterprets a classic that our team used as an alternative kit for two seasons (1990–91 and 1991–92). Squads from that era included players such as Ricardo Arias, Fernando Giner, Voro, Paco Camarasa, Fernando Gómez Colomer, Miguel Ángel Bossio, Lubo Penev, Enric Cuxart, Carlos Arroyo, Rommel Fernández, Robert Fernández, José Manuel Ochotorena, and José Manuel Sempere, among others.
This tribute evokes that iconic Valencia CF and PUMA design which began to establish the color orange as one of our identity hallmarks and has been central to some of the most special moments in our history over the past decades.
It is, without a doubt, a symbol of pride and belonging to our Terra de Valentia, translated into contemporary language and presented as a collector’s item.

The ‘RETRO JERSEY’ that our players will wear on Matchday 31 of LALIGA against Elche CF at the Martínez Valero Stadium can also be yours.
This is a limited edition that will be available in the Official Stores at Mestalla and Colón 50 starting Wednesday, April 8, coinciding with the week of LALIGA’s Retro Matchday.
Each VCF MEMBER will be able to purchase one of the first 300 shirts through the Valencia CF Online Store.

A DESIGN WHERE HISTORY COMES TO LIFE IN EVERY DETAIL
The ‘RETRO JERSEY’ draws on the aesthetic codes of that classic shirt with an aspirational, modern, and cultural vision of what Valencia CF represents, where history comes to life in every detail.
From the pattern in different shades of orange to the crest, which has been reinterpreted based on the one worn by our players in the early 1990s.
Exceptionally, for the Retro Matchday, this initiative also brings back the retro LALIGA logo on the right sleeve.
The logos of TM Grupo Inmobiliario, the club’s Main Global Partner, and Divina Seguros, Official Insurer of Valencia CF, stand out on the front of the shirt and the left sleeve respectively, both in black, contrasting with the orange color. Škoda, Premium Plus Partner and Official Vehicle of the Club, appears on the shorts, which will be black, as will the socks.
